Quality is a major aspect that gives a garment its distinguished identity in the world of fashion and style. Quality assurance is the process of systematic monitoring and evaluation of the various aspects of the product and its manufacturing process to ensure that standards of quality are being met.

There are two versions or defnitions for Quality;

      √    Fit for purpose - ensure the suitability of the product for the intended purpose - as derived from Juran's
      √    Meeting or exceeding customer's expectations - as derived from Deming's

The quality of a garment is determined by the characteristics of each of its component – fibre, fabric …..to the very last finishing detail. Quality control at each stage coupled with process control measures gives quality assurance in production.

Process Flow

Consistently improving quality is an ever changing continuous process. It involves every aspect of the organisation: Processes, People and Environment. The whole organisation from the CEO to the line operator must be involved in a shared commitment to improving quality.
